Kayla grew up in Schaumburg, IL, ultimately finding herself in St. Louis for Graduate school. She earned her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Maryville University, where she also had the opportunity to play on their collegiate women’s soccer team. With sports being a constant part of her life, she says she could not imagine a career without working with athletes. Kayla went on to pass her Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) exam and plans to become a Sports Clinical Specialist (SCS). When she’s not at work, you can find Kayla in the gym, playing with her pets (two cats and a Great Pyrenees puppy), losing at trivia, or serving at a local country club.
