Shawna joined the Axes team in May 2024 as the front desk float and quickly advanced to the position of front desk supervisor in Arnold, MO, as of June 2024. Growing up as a military dependent, she lived in 16 different states and attended high school in Anchorage, AK. However, she has called St. Louis home for the past 30 years and is a huge Cardinals fan. Shawna’s favorite part of working in the physical therapy setting is getting to know the patients and seeing them return to the activities they love. Having been a therapy patient herself, she knew she wanted to join the Axes team to experience an upbeat, positive environment every day. Outside of work, Shawna loves spending time outdoors, cycling, and participating in events like Muddy Princess. She also has a passion for hunting and enjoys time with her family, playing with her three pet goats, and snuggling with her dog, Brody James.
