At Axes Physical Therapy, caring for our community extends beyond helping patients recover from injury. Through the Axes Physical Therapy Foundation, we are proud to support organizations that provide hope, dignity, and essential resources to families facing difficult circumstances.

As part of our Axes Gives Back initiative, we are honored to support Marcy’s Project, a St. Charles County nonprofit dedicated to ensuring local families have access to basic necessities through compassionate, community-driven programs. Guided by the belief that every act of kindness can make a difference, Marcy’s Project serves individuals and families with dignity while helping strengthen the community one kind act at a time.

About Marcy’s Project

Marcy’s Project began in 2019 after its founders were inspired by an 80-year-old woman named Marcy, whose compassion and commitment to helping others sparked a movement of kindness. What started as helping one local family quickly grew into an organization dedicated to serving families throughout St. Charles County.

Today, Marcy’s Project operates four core programs:

• Marcy’s Meals, providing meal kits with fresh, healthy ingredients to local families.
• Marcy’s Market, offering clothing, hygiene products, household essentials, and other necessities at no cost.
• Marcy’s Milestones, celebrating seniors in local care facilities with birthday recognition and thoughtful gifts.
• Marcy’s Kids, supporting children through programs such as birthday celebrations, holiday gifts, Easter baskets, school supplies, formal attire, and more.

Together, these programs help meet immediate needs while restoring dignity and providing hope for individuals and families experiencing hardship.

Why This Cause Matters

At Axes Physical Therapy, we know that health and well-being are influenced by more than physical recovery alone. Access to nutritious food, clothing, hygiene products, and community support can make a meaningful difference in a family’s quality of life.
