Axes Physical Therapy is pleased to announce the opening of it’s newest location in Affton, MO on November 10, 2020. Located centrally within the densely populated region 15 minutes southwest of downtown St. Louis, the clinic and it’s expert staff will serve the surrounding communities of Affton, St. Louis City, Webster Groves, Malborough, Crestwood, Shrewsbury, Maplewood and Crestwood. We believe we have the opportunity to impact a greater number of lives with an additional location located in the central corridor.
This clinic will be led by an expert clinician, Scott Gallant, PT, FAAOMPT, BDN.
Scott graduated from Dalhousie University in Halifax, Canada in 1998. Scott has dedicated his entire career to becoming a master clinician with advanced certifications in manipulative therapy and trigger point dry needling in order to improve the lives of his patients. For nearly 22 years, Scott has established himself within the medical community in St. Louis as an expert resource for managing back, neck and thoracic pain as well as painful musculoskeletal conditions limiting his patients’ ability to work, live or participate in sports. He enjoys treating the members of his community and helping them to achieve pain-free living. Additionally, he’s enjoyed treating/consulting with the St. Louis Blues. With a background as a competitive hockey player, Scott brings that same level of tenacity to learning. He lectures nationally and internationally on the topics of manual therapy and Dry Needling, has published in peer-reviewed journals and co-authored a chapter in a textbook.
The Affton, MO clinic will be a full-service facility offering physical therapy, spine specialty, trigger point dry needling, advanced work rehabilitation, and sports therapy. Additionally, certified hand therapy will be available in 2021 for those suffering from upper extremity injuries.
