Aaron Braun, PT, DPT, CSCS, is a full-time physical therapist at the Axes Hazelwood clinic. Originally from McHenry, IL, Aaron earned his undergraduate degree from Northern Illinois University before completing his Doctorate of Physical Therapy at South College in Knoxville, TN.

A Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist, Aaron has a strong background in sports rehabilitation and performance. He particularly enjoys treating overhead athletes and throwers, shoulder conditions, and athletes recovering from ACL reconstruction. His experience includes rehabilitating professional football players and helping athletes prepare for the NFL Combine, along with a background in collegiate baseball, coaching, and strength and conditioning. Aaron is also certified in dry needling and incorporates techniques including blood flow restriction, cupping, and IASTM into patient care.

Aaron enjoys teaching patients how to better understand and care for their bodies, with an emphasis on helping them return to activity and build healthier, more active lifestyles. Outside of work, he enjoys working out, grilling, following the White Sox, Bears, and Fighting Illini, and spending time with his wife and son, Colton.
