Originally from Fort Collins, Colorado, Brett joined Axes in July 2020. Brett grew up playing football, baseball and basketball including playing 1 year as a red shirt freshman at a D2 college. He initially became interested in the field from attending physical therapy after a shoulder surgery from a High School football injury. Another surgery after one year in college football! Brett graduated from Creighton University in 2012. He has received two manual therapy certifications, with one specific to the spine (Certified Spinal Manual Therapist) in addition to being a board-certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialist (OCS). He enjoys seeing the satisfaction patients get when they meet their personal goals in physical therapy and can return to work, sport, or an activity of interest with less pain and greater mobility and function. Away from the office, Brett enjoys spending time with his wife and three children and playing golf.
