David Grant, MPT, COMT, FAAOMPT brings a wealth of specialized experience in orthopedic manual therapy to the Axes team with over 25 years in practice. Upon completion of his Master’s degree at Old Dominion University he completed 4 years of Post-Graduate training including Residency, Fellowship and PhD programs in orthopedic manual therapy from the Ola Grimsby Institute (OGI). After completing his training David became an instructor for OGI in 2013. David has since taught Manual Therapy seminars both nationally and internationally over the past decade and was the director of the on-line residency program for OGI. David has treated a large variety of patients and served as a physical therapist in Major League Baseball. David excels at treating complex conditions, emphasizing patient education to enhance recovery and function. Away from the clinic David enjoys spending time with his young daughter Nellie and has completed several Ironman Triathlons.
