Jayne Markum-Scanlan

Physical Therapist

A native of Washington, Missouri, Jayne completed physical therapy school at Washington University in St. Louis in 1999.  She has been a lifelong learner and has received multiple degrees and certifications to include her Doctor of Physical Therapyfellowship status with the American Academy of Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapy and advanced Certifications in Manipulative Therapy and Dry Needling.  She enjoys seeing complex patients and uses a hands-on approach to improve the lives of her patients.  Jayne is passionate about clinical education and has served as a guest lecturer and lab assistant at Washington University in St. Louis, has taught local manual therapy continuing education courses and has mentored manual therapy students and therapists over the years. Jayne will continue mentoring and educating others as the Director of Clinical Development and Education at Axes and will continue seeing patients at the St. Charles clinic. When not in the clinic, Jayne enjoys spending time with her family and outdoor activities like hiking, kayaking and fishing.
