Megan Leaver, OTD, OTR/L, is an occupational therapist at Axes Physical Therapy with a strong passion for upper extremity rehab and hand therapy. Born and raised in Ballwin, Megan followed in her family’s footsteps by attending Indiana University for her undergraduate degree in Exercise Science. She later returned to Indiana to earn her Doctorate in Occupational Therapy from Indiana Wesleyan University.

Megan joined Axes in 2022 and has been dedicated to helping patients regain independence and function ever since. She loves building relationships with patients and considers it a privilege to be part of their recovery journey—calling it one of the best jobs in the world.

Outside of the clinic, Megan enjoys spending time with her husband, their two boys, and their energetic dog. A creative at heart, she also loves crafting, attending concerts, and checking off visits to U.S. national parks.
