Steven Liao, PT, DPT, is a full-time physical therapist at the Axes Farmington clinic. Originally born in China, Steven has lived in several communities across the Midwest, including Chicago, Quincy, IL, and St. Louis, MO, experiences that have shaped his appreciation for connecting with people from all walks of life. He earned his Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Maryville University in St. Louis.

Steven values the relationship-building aspect of outpatient physical therapy and believes meaningful recovery comes from treating the whole person—not just the injury. He enjoys working with athletes and post-operative patients and is passionate about helping individuals improve their strength, confidence, and overall quality of life through compassionate, personalized care.

Outside of work, Steven enjoys fishing, playing pickleball, spending time with family and friends, and taking on home improvement projects with his in-laws.
