Axes Physical Therapy is pleased to announce that we are opening our 16th full-service physical therapy clinic in St. Peters, MO on August 1, 2022.
What’s better than ONE Axes in St. Peters? TWO! This brand-new St. Charles County facility will serve those living and working in multiple townships such as St. Peters, Cottleville, St. Charles, O’Fallon and many other well-established communities. Located in between Mid Rivers Mall Drive and Cave Springs exits, this location is easily accessible from multiple points off HWY 70, near the intersection of 70/370, and is conveniently located within a multi-specialty building in the rapidly growing business and residential area off Piper Hill and Executive Centre Parkway. Our current Axes location in St. Peters, off Mid Rivers Mall Drive, remains business as usual and open to serve you.
John Ruesler, DPT, CMPT will be leading this operation and functioning as Clinic Director. A Doctorate in Physical Therapy graduate from Missouri State University in 2013 and native to Bridgeton, MO, John has established himself as a master clinician in less than 9 years with additional certifications in manual therapy, trigger point dry needling and Astym. As a physical therapist, he thrives on helping others and positively impacting the lives of patients. He believes in empowering his patients to be active in their recovery process and, in doing so, he’s created a loyal following of patients. He enjoys spending time with his wife and daughter, golfing and sand volleyball. Helping people return to their pre-injury activities and to improve their overall wellbeing is what drives him as a physical therapist.
Led by John Ruesler, our St. Peters East team is a 7 person dream team! Working alongside John, our staff physical therapists are Amanda Gubbels, DPT, CMPT, ATC and Josh Patterson, PT, DPT. Covering hand therapy will be Kenzie Auten, OTR/L and Shawn Heck, PT/CHT. Your Workers’ Compensation Specialist is Sara Crain, PT, CEAS, Astym Cert. Last, but certainly not least, our front office will be supervised by Natasha Burtchett.
This clinic will provide all traditional physical therapy services focused on returning patients to the activities they enjoy, free from pain with improved movement. Whether an injured athlete, injured worker, or grandparent limited by pain and restricted mobility, our practice is centered on providing timely, expert physical therapy intervention by experts in the field. Additionally, this location will be providing certified hand therapy services for those suffering from upper extremity injuries or following surgery. Lastly, the expert clinicians at St. Peters East will be utilizing the DorsaVi Movement Analysis to evaluate running injuries and movement mechanics following lower extremity surgery or injury.
