Axes Physical Therapy is pleased to announce that we are opening our 17th full-service physical therapy clinic in Ballwin, MO on August 8, 2022.
We had SUCH a good time opening St. Peters East this week – so, we thought why not do it again! This brand new West St. Louis County facility will serve those living and working in multiple communities such as Ballwin, Town and Country, Des Peres, Kirkwood, and many other well established communities. This location is easily accessible from Manchester, near the intersection of Highway 141/Manchester.
This clinic will provide all traditional physical therapy services focused on returning patients to the activities they enjoy, free from pain with improved movement. Whether an injured athlete, injured worker, in need of pelvic floor therapy, or grandparent limited by pain and restricted mobility, our practice is centered on providing timely, expert physical therapy intervention by experts in the field. Additionally, this location will be providing certified hand therapy services in 2023 for those suffering from upper extremity injuries or following surgery.
Emily Helton, PT, DPT, CMPT, Astym Cert. will be leading this operation and functioning as Clinic Director. Emily received her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Missouri State University in 2013 after completing her Biology degree from Webster University. A former college soccer player at Webster University, Emily has been practicing in outpatient orthopedic physical therapy for the past 6 years. She has special interest in the athletic population – especially runners, earned her Astym Certification, and is a DorsaVi video motion analysis specialist. Additionally, she is a certified manual therapist and also specializes in pelvic floor physical therapy. Helping people return to their pre-injury activities and to improve their overall wellbeing is what drives her as a physical therapist.
