Axes Gives Back: KidSmart School Supply Drive 2025
Backpacks. Pencils. Notebooks. Opportunity.
For the 6th consecutive year, Axes Physical Therapy is proud to partner with KidSmart to support their annual Push for Pencils school supply drive, benefiting under-resourced classrooms throughout the Greater St. Louis area.
From now through August 26, all 21 Axes locations are accepting donations of new, unopened school supplies to ensure local students start the school year prepared, confident, and ready to succeed.
Why It Matters
- ✏️ 90,000 St. Louis-area students begin school each year without the supplies they need
- 🎒 10,000 kids are equipped with free supplies every week through KidSmart
- 💪 Students with access to supplies see a 70% increase in self-esteem
- 💰 KidSmart has distributed over $78 million in supplies to date
This drive isn’t just about backpacks and pencils — it’s about helping children feel seen, supported, and set up for success on day one.
What to Donate
You can make a difference by dropping off any of the following items at your nearest Axes clinic:
- Pencils
- Crayons
- Markers
- Glue
- Loose leaf paper
- Spiral notebooks
- Backpacks
- Pocket folders
- Colored pencils
- Pencil boxes
- Scissors
- Pens
