Healing Hunger. Strengthening Our Future.

At Axes Physical Therapy, we believe in strengthening the communities we serve. With 25 locally operated clinics across the Greater St. Louis area and Mid-Missouri, our commitment goes beyond physical and occupational therapy. We also believe in helping our neighbors live healthier, fuller lives.

Each year, our team comes together to support Operation Food Search (OFS), a St. Louis-based nonprofit dedicated to fighting hunger and food insecurity.

This year, we’re continuing that tradition with our 2026 Food Drive, running now through November 10 at all 25 Axes locations.

Together, we can make a meaningful difference for families throughout our communities.

About Operation Food Search

Founded in 1981, Operation Food Search is Missouri’s largest independent food bank, serving communities throughout Missouri and Illinois.

Each year, OFS distributes more than $32 million worth of food and essential items through over 600 community partners across 24 Missouri and Illinois counties. Additionally, the organization provides food and support to more than 200,000 people every month.

Although hunger remains a serious challenge throughout the bi-state region, Operation Food Search believes it is a solvable problem. Through partnerships, volunteers, and generous donors, OFS works to improve access to nutritious food and build healthier, stronger communities.

Why This Food Drive Matters

Food insecurity continues to affect families throughout Missouri and across the country. Rising grocery prices and everyday expenses can make it difficult for households to consistently access nutritious meals.

However, hunger affects more than physical health. It can also influence children’s development, mental well-being, and overall quality of life.

That’s why organizations like Operation Food Search play such an important role in our communities. By providing nutritious food and essential resources, they help families meet their immediate needs while working toward long-term stability.

Even a small donation can make a difference. A few canned goods, a box of pasta, or everyday hygiene products can help support a neighbor in need.

Help Us Make a Difference in 2026

Now through November 10, 2026, we’re inviting patients, employees, and community members to participate in our annual food drive.

Simply bring your donations to any of our 25 Axes Physical Therapy clinics. Our teams will collect the items to support Operation Food Search and its mission to heal hunger.

Whether you donate one item or an entire bag of groceries, your generosity matters.

At Axes, we’re grateful to serve communities that continue to show up for one another. Together, we can help fight hunger, support local families, and make this year’s food drive another meaningful success.

Helping you is what we do… and we love doing it.
