Axes Gives Back: St. Patrick Center, Dec. 2020

Axes is a small, locally owned and operated physical therapy company serving our communities in the Greater St. Louis area. We’re fortunate to be able to offer our services at 12 locations, with the mission to help as many people as possible. Our profession is all about helping others and giving back. Through the service of physical and occupational therapy, we give our patients’ their livelihoods, lifestyles, and abilities back.

Since giving back is the fundamental reason that our organization exists, it was important to the ownership and staff of Axes Physical Therapy to make sure that we are doing all that we can to give back to the communities we love. Each month, Axes partners with a local, staff nominated charitable organization to donate food, goods, clothes, and funds. In the later months of 2020, we are honored to have given back to KidSmart Push for Pencils, Dogs For Our Brave, New Hope Resource Center, and for the current month of December, St. Patrick Center.

St. Patrick Center provides opportunities for self-sufficiency and dignity to people who are homeless or at risk of becoming homeless. Individuals and families build permanent, positive change in their lives through safe and affordable housing, sound mental and physical health, and employment and financial stability. St. Patrick Center focuses services in St. Louis City and St. Louis County, providing assistance to 3,500 individuals and families annually.

All December long, Axes is hosting a Winter Wear Drive to support St. Patrick Center. This initiative’s mission is to make sure that everyone has access to winter essentials and warmth. We are looking for new and/or gently used winter coats, blankets, scarves, hats, socks, sweatpants, etc. Men’s larger sizes are in the highest demand (L-XXXL), but all sizes/styles are gratefully accepted. All 12 Axes Physical Therapy locations will serve as convenient spots to deliver items that any member of our community would like to donate. Please, bear in mind, masks are required to ensure the safety of all patrons and employees.

Thank you to our patients, staff, friends, and clients for your continued support of our small business, assisting those in need, and contributing to our greatest mission – to give back.

Helping you is what we do.
