Jeff Cowdry: A Blend of Expertise and Compassion
We are excited to welcome Jeff Cowdry, OTR/L, CHT, to our Axes Physical Therapy team at the Ballwin clinic. Jeff brings an impressive 44-year legacy in occupational therapy, marked by diverse experiences and specialized expertise. A proud alumnus of the University of Missouri, Columbia, with a Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy, Jeff began his career at Jewish Hospital of St. Louis. There, he honed his skills working with burn victims, stroke, head injury, and spinal cord injury patients.
Jeff’s journey then led him to HealthSouth Corporation, where for 17 years, he mastered hand therapy and delved into the nuances of business operations. In his most recent 17-year tenure with outpatient companies, Jeff has been notably focused on wrist injuries, tendon transfers, and nerve transfer patients, working closely with some of the finest hand surgeons in the St. Louis region. His arrival at Axes is not just a new chapter in his career but a continuation of his commitment to bettering lives right here in the Greater St. Louis area. Outside the clinic, Jeff is an enthusiast of activities like bike riding, swimming, running, and Krav Maga, which reflects his dedication to an active and healthy lifestyle.
